The responsibilities of the position-holder will be fluid, taking both a leading role on certain functions as well as a supportive role in other functions, as required by the Group. The areas of responsibility in Rewardsco Investments cover Investments and Finance. This is a specialist post reporting directly to the Group Financial Director. It is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to executive management and strategic thinking. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Working closely with the Group Financial Director on special projects and executive reporting Management of Group financial planning Performance of group valuations Shareholder related reporting Group procurement reporting Technical advice based on scrutinizing business agreements, understanding of group operations and technical knowledge Assisting with funding related matters and annual building valuations SARS tax returns: tax submissions and ad hoc e-filing projects for the group Assistance with business plans SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED: Entrepreneurial and technical mindset Strong IFRS knowledge Self-starter and who can perform on broad mandates Strategic thinker MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Chartered Accountant qualification with minimum 1 year post-articles experience Big 4 articles preferred Please note that only suitably qualified candidates will be considered.
