Provides day to day first level supervision of a small group of associates for a specific segment of accounting or Finance operations activity including Payroll, Cash Management/Treasury, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay or Inventory. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of work performed on a period and quarterly basis. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and situations and has latitude to consider best course of action. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Day to day supervision of a team of associates Participate in the selection of staff and provide training and support Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise and review the work performed Administer and monitor established goals/objective Make recommendations to the development, improvement, implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures Recommend and assist in the implementation of goals and objectives Prepare various reports and compile/review statistics Monitor annual budgets and prepare variance analysis Ensure compliance with internal/external controls Responsible for overseeing Invoicing, Cash Application, and Collection activities. Perform daily review of batches and exports to general ledger. Perform monthly rent roll. Assist with Account Reconciliations. Review and approve voids, write-offs, and Repays. Ensure timely collection of receivables and application of credit amounts. Requirements Basic Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 3 - 5 years or recent college graduate with leadership background Knowledge A/R background Previous Real Estate experience is a plus Skills and Abilities: Advanced Analytical Skills Accounting knowledge Ability to read and interpret lease communication Effectively Communicate with multiple departments
