Marketing & Communications Executive RESPECT CLG, St Vincent’s Centre, Navan Road, Dublin 7, D07 X051. Ph: Director Sr Zoe Killeen, (01) 6856502. www.respect.ie RESPECT was established in 1995 and is a charitable organisation which supports the Daughters of Charity Disability Support Services by improving the surroundings and the independence of service users, through capital building projects, and the DOCTRID Research Institute, responsible for world class research into the potential of assistive technology in changing the lives of those with intellectual disability. The Role The Marketing & Communications Executive will be responsible for planning the direction of marketing activity in relation to the RESPECT brand strategy. The purpose of the role is to build the RESPECT brand profile and to further develop the support base for the Charity in a meaningful and sustainable fashion. The Marketing and Communications Executive will report to the Director of RESPECT and will work with existing staff, consultants and members of the fundraising board. Main Duties: · The planning and delivering of a calendar of content on the RESPECT websites, social media sites and email channel. · Ensure that RESPECT social media platforms are effectively used, managed and maintained · Helping to create cost effective ways to raise awareness of the RESPECT brand through PR, signage and online channels · Organise and create effective marketing materials · Develop, implement, monitor and report on fundraising campaigns · Development of the Salesforce CRM system Essential Qualifications · 3rd Level Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related area · Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marketing, public relations role, ideally in a non-profit organisation. · Experience in event management and marketing · A proven track record in developing and implementing marketing strategies and promotion campaigns · Experience working with CRM tools to ensure effective usage of database of donors Remuneration Salary and terms will be commensurate with successful applicants’ experience and salary scales within the non-profit sector. Full drivers licence an advantage Appointment will be for a minimum of one year, subject to review.
