Used Car Buyer Willenhall (WV13) Up to £30,000 pa plus bonus of up to £18,750 plus car and benefits Manufacturer owned dealerships Renault Retail Group (RRG) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Used Car Buyer to join the team at our Autoworld used car dealership. You will be responsible for the purchasing of used vehicles (cars and vans) from various sources to meet RRG requirements. Duties include: Sourcing a volume of cars per month from car auctions and private sellers Negotiating used car purchase prices and bidding on stock at auction Closely monitoring industry trends and pricing trends to ensure used car stock allows sufficient margin Monitor reconditioning costs, profits and days to sell from source with a monthly analysis report Creating relationships with Major Rental Companies and maintaining relationships with existing suppliers What we’d like from you: Currently working as a Used Car Buyer, Used Car Sales Manager or General Sales Manager Recent experience in buying and selling vehicles preferably with a main dealer Strong negotiation skills to maximise profit Confident, self-motivated and driven to succeed in a target driven environment Able to adapt to the needs of the business in an ever changing market place Computer literate with excellent business reporting skills Full clean UK driving licence The working hours for the role are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hour for lunch although flexibility in working hours will be required due to the nature of the role.
