Join the Regions Hospital team in an integral role as a Patient Representative and make an impact on patient experience! The Patient Representative serves as a liaison between patients and the hospital, helping to resolve immediate problems for patients, investigate complaints and grievances, as well as identify complaint trends. Patient Representatives act as a resource for patients and their families who feel their patient rights have not been respected and who have questions and concerns about their health care experience. In addition, this role provides specific channels through which patients and families can seek solutions to their problems, concerns, and unmet needs and also works in conjunction with Administration to improve patient satisfaction. This position requires the ability to maintain composure in high stress situations, be able to make timely and informed decisions that take into account the facts, goals, constraints and risks and be skilled in interpersonal communication which develops effective rapport with customers, coworkers and families to make a positive connection.
