We have an exciting career opportunity in the position of Manager, Parks, Recreation and Culture. The RDNO is seeking an experienced and innovative manager to lead the development and delivery of a strategic vision for parks, recreation and culture. You are consultative by nature with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You are comfortable giving presentations to elected officials and the public. You have extensive knowledge of parks, recreation facilities and cultural services and operations. You have strong project management skills and have led teams and complex projects to successful completion. You are well-versed with budgets, procurement and asset management. Reporting to the General Manager, Community Services, the Manager, Parks, Recreation and Culture will provide leadership for the overall administration and management of Parks, Recreation and Culture services within the Regional District. This position is supported by an Assistant Manager, operations staff and contractors.
