PREVIOUS CUSTOMER FACING RETAIL MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE NECESSARY Assistant Manager for Reel Cinema in Burnley. We are a growing, nationwide chain of cinemas with a mission to deliver affordable family entertainment with outstanding customer service at the heart of our local communities. Being an Assistant Manager is an exciting and challenging position! Outstanding Customer service is our top priority, ensuring our customers have the very best cinema experience. Flexibility is key in this role as you will work across all areas of the business ranging from HR and marketing to cleaning and maintenance. As an Assistant Manager you will support the Manager in the day-to-day running of the cinema. Your role will be to coach all team members including Supervisors, Customer Service Assistants and the Cleaning Team. You need to be able to adapt quickly and rise to every challenge. Great interpersonal skills are needed to support the Manager to inspire a team that performs 7 days a week. Previous supervisory / management experience in a retail, leisure or hospitality environment is essential. You will work 40 hours per week. You will be expected to do around 2-3 close shifts per week finishing around 11pm. What does the job involve? Creating an environment where customer service flourishes Communicate targets and objectives and enable team members to achieve them. Multi tasking across a variety of activities at the same time Help to drive concession sales Ensuring compliance with company guidelines Communicating targets and objectives at all levels of the business Training and developing team members and creating a can do culture Day to day cash management responsibilities Being able to perform as a Manager in their absence.
