General Summary We are currently seeking a summer Intern for the Design and Development Department. Intern will be working closely with design team in various activities related to the design, development and physical construction of spaces for commercial offices, retail, multifamily residential, hotel and other uses. LeFrak affiliates today own and manage an extensive portfolio of real property concentrated in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area, as well as South Florida, Los Angeles and throughout the West Coast. Although we focus on the residential and office sectors, LeFrak affiliates also invest in numerous hospitality and retail assets. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities: Site visits Renderings and Surveys Assist with signage and coordination of vendors work Assist with presentations Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Architecture, Engineering or other related fields. Must be a sophomore or upperclassman. Experience working with Photoshop, SketchUp Auto CAD or other imaging/modeling software Experience working in a corporate office environment is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred. Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills. Strong organization skills with attention to detail. Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
