The Ramada by Wyndham Vancouver Downtown is searching for energetic, reliable housekeepers preferably with some previous experience but we will train the right candidate for full or part time work. What we require: Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to Hotel standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing garbage and leaving the room in spotless condition. Some rooms may require cleaning a kitchen area with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker for which more time is allotted. Be a team player, always making sure our guests are given best possible service. Report any maintenance repairs needed promptly. Stock up with room supplies and amenities. Log all lost and found items according to established procedures. Part time and full time shifts available. You should be able to: Communicate well in English. Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Able to bend, reach, lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 lbs. Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Must be a people person but most of all you must be able to work well in a team environment. The ability to speak additional languages and prior hotel experience are advantages.
