Raleigh Orthopaedic is hiring an Appointment Scheduling Specialist in Raleigh! Our team of Appointment Setting Coordinators are an integral part of our orthopaedic practice working on the front lines and serving as the first point of contact in customer service and public relations. We rely on our Appointment Scheduling patient success team to consistently deliver a positive client experience while maintaining accurate and orderly schedules for our physicians. This role requires comfort being on the phone along with the ability to juggle multiple interactions at one time. Responsibilities: Schedules patient appointments with surgeons, non-operative physicians, and physician assistants Appointment Schedulers ensure that all calls are processed correctly and promptly Operate the central communications center for the clinic Prioritize multiple tasks/demands while establishing effective working relationships with patients, co-workers and providers. Requirements: 2+ years’ experience in medical appointments scheduling Administrative / healthcare customer service role in a large healthcare / medical office setting Excellent interpersonal and communications skills as well as experience with over the phone patient support Call center customer service experience A stable employment history and history of consistent attendance.
