Mechanical Engineer Reporting to the President, the Mechanical Engineer is responsible for timely production of 3D models and manufacturing drawings with Solidworks software, management of new projects and procurement requirements for projects. Key responsibilities: 1. Produce accurate 3D models in Solidworks 2. Produce fully dimensioned and toleranced manufacturing drawings 3. Produce 3D models of reverse engineered parts from 3D CMM scan data 4. File management and document control 5. Provide support to purchasing in qualification and monitoring of vendors 6. Develop work instructions and procedures 7. Proactively contribute to and implement continuous improvement activities 8. Other tasks as required Qualifications: 1. 3-5 years experience with mechanical product manufacturing and design 2. 3-5 years experience with Solidworks 3. Ability to drive problems to resolution 4. Ability to use hand measuring tools 5. Understanding of GD&T 6. Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment 7.
