Your tasks: Translation of regulatory requirements and trends at the scientific level (focus ecotoxicology) into concrete measures to ensure market access for the Rain Carbon product portfolio Editing and maintenance of dossiers (IUCLID), e.g. registration and authorization dossiers under REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals; EG 1907/2006) and BPR (Biocidal Products Regulation, EU 528/2012) Evaluation of data from (eco)toxicological studies for individual products or product classes and estimation of the consequences for other products Coordination of (eco)toxicological tasks with internal and external stakeholders. Internal consulting in the field of (eco-)toxicological product safety, occupational safety, and environmental protection (e.g. classifications, contents in MSDSs, limit values) Global key contact for the organization. Coordination on toxicological issues, including discussions and negotiations with external stakeholders at international (e.g. ECHA) and national (e.g. regulatory authorities) level Representation of Rain Carbon in industry groups (associations, consortia, etc.), including technical discussions on toxicological requirements for industry Your profile: University degree in chemistry, biology or biochemistry, pharmacy or veterinary medicine with corresponding further education and specialization in ecotoxicology, toxicology or comparable qualification Professional experience, e.g. at a scientific institution or in the chemical industry with a focus on scientific / toxicological issues in a regulatory context Expertise and knowledge in handling standard (MS Office, SAP) and special software for regulatory affairs (IUCLID, SAP-EHS) as well as experience in the application of calculation models Experience in the translation of chemical regulations in their meaning and impact on a potential business success as well as in the implementation of chemical legislation, including the BPR and REACH Ability to quickly and efficiently familiarize oneself with relevant legislation and its implementation (focus: chemical legislation and interface with scientific issues) Fluent in written and spoken English
