A leading provider of cyber security and application delivery solutions, Radware (RDWR) is looking for an Emergency Response Team (ERT) Expert Engineer to fuel the success of customers by serving as the primary contact when timely assistance is needed the most. If you’re an energetic, upstart engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with people under pressure, this could be the position for you. The ERT Expert Engineer will join the Emergency Response Team in Radware’s Managed Services business unit. The ERT Team provides immediate and direct security support for customers under attack, ensuring the continued functioning of protected services and, ultimately, customer satisfaction. The ERT Expert role is part of the ERT’s top tier of experts, providing technical support and expert guidance on product use as part of an overall network security defense solution (I.e., attack detection and mitigation), support strategic internal and customer projects, and provide real time support to security-related business and technical challenges. Responsibilities: Real time DDoS attack detection and mitigation Real time assistance for customers under web application attacks Forensics analysis and reporting Resultion of security related issues in peace-time Consulting existing and new customers on security related aspect Requirements: BSc/BA in Computer Science or equivalent Excellent understanding and hands-on experience with Layer 2/Layer 3 Switching/Routing, TCP/IP, IPv4, Layer 4/Layer 7 switching, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, security consulting, SSL, IPsec. In-depth understanding of protocol and network analyzers Excellent customer service skills Good troubleshooting, diagnosis and problem solving capabilities Willing to be on alert during off-work hours Excellent communication skills and team work Strong verbal (phone) and written (e-mail) communication skills in English Perceptive, fast learner, have a sense of urgency, and able to perform well under pressure Advantages Experience in similar positions/companies Knowledge in scripting languages Graduated Networking or Security courses - advantage Primary Location: IN-IN-Chennai Work Locations: Radware Shield Square India, Chennai #131, 2nd Floor Velachery Main RoadLittle Mount - Saidapet Chennai 600015 Job: Cloud and Management
