The Role: Food Service Assistant (part-time) Rate of Pay: £8.21 Hours: Monday and Wednesday 1030-1400 both days Weeks per Year: 52 Job Description: Are you passionate about food, people and great service? Lotus Cars is based in Hethal and we are looking for a Food Service Assistant to work on our site which boasts a welcome and friendly atmosphere. The purpose of the post is: To provide a high quality and passionate catering service to, staff and visitors. The main duties and responsibilities are: Service To serve customers in a fast paced environment with flare for presentation and precise portion control. To always ensure the counters, seating areas and kitchen are kept clean at all times. To operate cash till, ensure security of till at all times and take till reading as directed. To deliver a quality hospitality service. To complete cleaning rotas / dish washer duties as required. To ensure that vending machines are replenished and clean. Food Preparation To prepare a wide range of innovative food offers. To maintain correct food storage and holding temperatures at all times. General To act at all times within the current Health and Safety at Work regulations. To provide a support and guidance to work experience placements. Promote excellent customer service to all customers. Carry out any other reasonably comparable duties that may be required from time to time. Undertake additional duties as required, including occasional evening work. CANDIDATE PROFILE It is desirable that this candidate holds a Food Hygiene certificate at Level 2 but the candidate should be willing to obtain one once in employment. Be passionate and excited at the prospect of working with young adults and other visitors. Be willing and excited at the prospect of further development through Radish’s development training.
