This is your chance to get a new established role and work with managing projects to reduce costs for our Blood Gas Device lifecycle management. These projects will allow us to allocate more resources to future investments that can help our mission of helping caregivers make diagnostic decisions that save lives. Building a new Project Setup QA/RA, Operations and R&D have an increased focus on delivering cost savings on our products as the demand and volume of orders is growing. We are building a stronger organization to governance and drive the projects to hit our ambitious targets. Your role in our R&D Lifecycle Management team is to take ownership of managing a project portfolio in your area, that will secure improvement on our Blood sampling devices. Planning projects and delegating tasks to colleagues dedicated to our purpose of lowering product costs is essential in the job. It might be tasks related to taking an old design to a new vendor and validate a new design with the same or higher quality. Or working cross-functionally on designing a new component that can be integrated in one of our Medical Devices to lower unit prices. Responsibilities summed up: Manage the day-to-day operations of the portfolio and establish the working plan of each project phase Ensure cost savings and redesigns that improve product quality Drive funnel with ideas for new projects Facilitate project review and checkpoint meetings Analyze and appraise the efficiency of methods, costs, and results Escalate issues that threaten portfolio and project success The international nature of the job can take you travelling between 10-15 % of your time. Mostly to Poland in Stargaard where several of our colleagues working on the projects are located. Qualifications We hope that you have a mechanical or chemical engineering background or similar. The ability and experience in understanding mechanical designs and drawings/tolerances is a big plus.
