About the Assistant Accountant: In this newly created position we are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to assist the UK Financial Controller in the preparation of financial and management accounts reports. Support Accounts Payable/Receivable in achieving company objectives. Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant: Management accounts preparation Balance sheet reconciliations Expense Approvals Weekly Cash flow reporting SOX control testing Completion of government requirements Fixed Assets maintenance Review of AP aged invoices and purchase orders Support to the AR function for credit control Preparation of monthly VAT reports and reconciliation of control accounts Assistance with Corporation Tax Requirements of the Assistant Accountant: Sound knowledge of finance computer systems, experience of integrated accounts systems preferable Good knowledge and expertise on Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.) and Windows Software AAT or part-qualified If you feel like you meet the above criteria for the Assistant Accountant, then please apply now!
