For this entry-level position we are looking for someone with enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Essential Functions Coordinate fleet personnel to ensure proper allocation of human resources and equipment in order to maximize operational efficiencies. Provide customer service for inbound calls regarding placing orders and product inquiries. Coordinates and oversees the routing and scheduling of daily ready mix trucking services and drivers and assures compliance with time schedules and applicable laws, codes, rules and regulations. Manages and facilitates daily operations of the dispatch office. Communicates regularly with the drivers to assist and manage implications caused by equipment problems, traffic, accidents and on site incidents in the construction industry. Communicates with the customer to report compliance to daily targets as well as course of action should deviation to plans occur. Ensures that schedules are carried out in an effective and efficient manner. Makes necessary adjustments for road closures and bans, weather, and mechanical/technical problems. Receives and responds to inquiries concerning routing, scheduling, and other trucking related questions. Take customer phone calls and input into system for processing. Inform customers of pricing and products. Coordinate between customers, order desk, and dispatch team. Hours of Work Hours within this position will vary; however, typical working schedule will be Monday through Friday with a Saturday rotation.
