Job Description Responsible for monitoring, operating, managing, troubleshooting and restoring to service any terminal service client, personal computers (PC) or notebooks that has authorized access to the network Beyond the scope of the computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment, the Desktop Support Engineer will escalate the issue/problem to proper tier 2 support or application owner or maintenance vendor Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment Performs remedial repairs on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment Customize desktop hardware to meet user specifications and site standards. Performs work in compliance within specified warranty requirements. Returns defective equipment/parts to maintenance inventory, documents customer repairs, maintains and restocks assigned parts inventory to insure proper spare parts levels. Manage full lifecycle of IT Assets inventory Track and follow up issue from open till closure Ensure Customer Satisfaction is met Ensure proper L1 troubleshooting had been performed before escalate to L2 Review Case Log monthly Support all BCP exercise through the year Qualifications Diploma/ Degree with min. 8 years & above in technical support experience for information technology Analytical and able to solve technical problems independently Able to adapt, evolve and collaborate with others across different environments Additional Information RHB is a dynamic organization that promotes a work culture of high performance, where its biggest asset, the RHB-ians, are continuously developed & nurtured to their fullest potential through its robusttalent management practices.
