Responsibilities REHAU, a leading international polymer manufacturer for the construction industry, is seeking a highly motivated and conscientious engineering intern for our Building Solutions Division at our Americas headquarters in Leesburg, VA. Interning with us means taking ownership of your project from the very first day: organizing your project yourself and learning by doing rather than observing. You will be an important member of our engineering team working on a product develop project. We will expect you to seek the challenge, be eager to contribute and be dedicated to your own professional development. This 12-week paid summer internship is an outstanding opportunity for a university student pursuing an undergraduate degree in mechanical or industrial engineering. Job responsibilities for the Engineering Intern - Building Solutions include: Design and develop new product offering for market Coordinate with production facilities to define technical specifications and requirements for products Evaluate and develop quality control guidelines for suppliers Support engineers with ongoing projects and activities Qualifications College student majoring in mechanical or industrial engineering required Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD highly desirable Database management skills required Experience in summarizing and reporting technical findings Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills Must have sound engineering decision-making skills Works independently, as well as in a team environment Interest in working for a multinational corporation Equal Employment Opportunity Statement REHAU is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that appreciates and leverages the diversity of our team.
