Job Summary Graduation or post-graduation in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 3 to 10 year experience in finite element analysis (FEA) especially in heavy engineering or turbomachinery domain. Hands-on experience on linear/non-linear static analysis. Experience in performing fatigue life assessments bolted and welded joint calculations using analytical methods and FEA. Knowledge about the structural design of components – Large castings, forgings, welded and bolted structures Candidate should be proficient in hand calculations and good with engineering fundamentals. Proficiency in FE tools like ANSYS Workbench is a must. APDL scripting is added advantage. Good experience in writing the Analysis reports is a must. Expertise in resolving convergence issues not only for self but also provide consultation to other junior analysts is preferred.
