The Team: The Field Service team are based throughout Italy and support customers within different geographic regions. To strengthen our Service team we are looking for a Field Service Specialist to be based in Veneto who will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of QIAGENs’ innovative products for our customers across the region (Triveneto). Just candidates located in Triveneto region will be consider for the position. Position Description Installation of automation solutions and analytical devices. Maintain and develop positive relationships with customers. Assist in the development and maintenance of reference customers. Assist in Meeting/exceeding sales targets in relation to maintaining high customer satisfaction. Actively promote and sell Field Service products. Utilize the CRM database to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness. Give active feedback to Sales, Global Product Support and your team/management. Manage effective available time and resources. Provide cross-border/district/region support when required. Positively represent QIAGEN in front of the customer. Error analysis and repair, optimization of the system automation-consumables-applications. Provide customer trainings on site. Creation-consumables-applications. Provide customer trainings on site. Position Requirements Strong technical skills (mechanical, electronics and fluidic components). Reliable and independent method of working. Previous service and support experience in a comparable position within the after sales service business in the life science industry/markets would be preferable, or equivalent experience maintaining instrumentation in the life science fields. Proven work experience in developing customer relationships. Previous basic experience in LIS/LIMS integration. Minimum commercial skills. Valid driver’s license and Passport and willingness to travel up to 80%. Fluent English skills (written and spoken). Personal Requirements Good communication skills.
