We are currently looking for a Sales Assistant for our busy Covent Garden flagship store. The ideal candidate will have previous retail experience in a fast-paced customer facing environment. This is a contract for part time work, the contract itself is 0hour and the shifts will range from 2-5 a week depending on the needs of the business. The days are flexible and will include some weekends. Pylones is a brand that transforms an object into a gift. The role of Sales Assistant is to participate in smooth operation of the store and contributes to its success. The Sales Assistant is expected to follow the company policies, procedures and guidelines. Your responsibilities as Pylones Sales Assistant will be: Delivering excellent customer service: greeting, welcoming and advising Maintaining Visual Merchandising standards Carrying out product replenishment Keeping high standards of tidiness and cleanliness in store Cashing in at the till Being vigilant with security. Committed, conscientious and with a strong ability for team work, the Sales Assistant will take an active part in developing the store's sales. The Sales Assistant role with the customers is to communicate effectively, listen, advice, and convince in order to gain customer loyalty, always under the guidelines of the Store Manager, Assistant Manager and Key Holder. The Sales Assistant, as a Pylones representative, needs to show very good interpersonal skills and a commitment in providing excellent customer service.
