Company Description null Job Description We are on the hunt for an experienced Business Development, Marketing & Communications Manager to join the Publicis Groupe in Sydney. About The Team The Business Development, Marketing & Communications team is integral to the delivery of Publicis Groupe’s unique selling propositions to existing and prospective clients in the ANZ market. This team supports complex, large-scale new business pitches, as well as pipeline and prospecting activities, and drives a Marketing & Communications programme spanning PR, Events, Brand and Design. Role Description The Business Development Manager will be a critical member of this team and will support in all areas to drive excellence, consistency and speed across the practice. The Manager must be a nimble collaborator and multi-tasker with the ability to build relationships and communicate with stakeholders right across the business. This is the ideal role for a Senior Account Manager level or Account Director looking to move into a BDM focussed role. Core Responsibilities Support pitches including gathering RFI/RFP content and coordinating meetings Help to evolve content and stories around the vision and proposition of Publicis Groupe and its agencies, as well as current and emerging services and capabilities Build and maintain an online library of best practice RFP answers, presentations and collateral Manage the Salesforce platform to monitor new business opportunities and client rosters in ANZ Deliver accurate bi-weekly and monthly new business reporting to regional and global teams Support pipeline analysis and compile reports for Groupe Growth Board Keep credentials and standard documentation up to date for Publicis Groupe teams Collaborate with Business Development colleagues in other countries by providing inputs for global/regional pitches (e.g. competitive analysis, target analysis, media plans, and RFI content) Collate media clippings and report on media coverage for Publicis Groupe brands and its agencies Provide internal liaison support across brand agencies, e.g. following up approvals for media releases Skills You will need to be incredibly organised and detailed with experience in implementing and managing effective processes and projects You must have excellent written/grammatical skills and be capable of drafting pitch-ready content Equally, you must not be phased by numbers and Excel You must be confident in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders across the business and region You will need to be a good time-manager and communicator as you will be supporting three Business Leads who all have to deliver to very tight deadlines You should have at least 4-5 years’ experience in a fast-paced business environment – past experience working on a pitch team is plus although previous business development experience not essential You should be capable of producing well-formatted documents in both PowerPoint and Word, and be able to use Excel to at least an Intermediate level Key Attributes Communicate clearly, concisely, adapted for audience High cultural awareness and sensitivity Adapt to changing needs, priorities and environments Have a point of view – bring ideas and recommendations Be a problem solver – flag issues or questions but provide a solution or course of action Anticipate – and understand what is needed and drive against it Work comfortably and effectively in fast-shifting and iterating environments Build relationships across stakeholder – work up, down and across No job too big or too small – roll up your sleeves and get it done Manage and deliver in high pressure and multi-tasking situations Detail-oriented, excellence-obsessed Collegial and collaborative – injecting a spirit of inclusiveness, humour and fun What we offer you?
