Job Title: Community Mental Health Workers: Housing Support Services Program Description: Provides support services to adults with mental illness to enable them to live in their own homes in the community Employee Category: Due to ongoing growth and anticipated vacancies we are currently actively recruiting in all of our Mental Health, Housing and Outreach Programs. We currently have a variety of permanent vacancies in all of our programs, as well as part-time and temporary full-time vacancies. Salary Range: As per Collective Agreement – HEU - Community subsector Grid 34; Full Benefits after 3 mo and enrolment in the Municipal Pension Plan. Qualifications: - 3 three years related experience in the mental health field and/or a combination of relevant experience and education with a minimum of one-year direct experience working in the mental health field. - A good understanding of mental illness. - Familiarity with community resources. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle. - Physical ability to perform the duties of the position. Hours of Work: Generally Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but may vary according to client needs.
