Location: Midrand Position Overview: One of the leading global medical device manufacturers and distributors are looking to employ a Head of Legal and Compliance. One will be responsible to manage organisation compliance, legal strategy and contracts with respect to Company’s activity in line with the company corporate standards and legislation and protection of the Company’s legal interests. The South African office is also responsible for the SADC Region and requires an experienced commercial law expert whom is well familiar with the Legal and Regulatory Framework in the SADC Region as well as SA. Key Focus Areas include: Contract Law Governance Compliance People Leadership IR Strategic and Operational Management Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required: Legal and Compliance Degree required, NQF 8 10 Years in Commercial Law is required 8 Years Management experience in a Global Commercial Legal Environment is required (SADC and RSA Legal and Regulatory Framework) 2 Years Executive Management experience 2 Years Strategic Management experience Must have knowledge of Legal and Regulatory Frameworks in Region and South Africa Related Industry experience (Medical Device / Pharma) will be an advantage Please note that preference will be given to PDI candidates If you meet all the requirements mentioned above and you are interested to further the process, kindly contact Patricia Koekemoer by referring detailed CV per email to [email removed]
