AT-A-GLANCE Prince Industries LLC is a contract manufacturer of precision machined and sheet metal fabricated components and assemblies. We are not a job shop, or a vendor, or even just a supplier - we are a strategic supply chain partner. Today we operate five manufacturing facilities – two in Illinois, two in Florida, and one in Shanghai, China, and have hundreds of employees. All five of our manufacturing facilities are ISO 9001:2015 (and soon to be ISO 13485) certified. Two of our facilities are AS9100-certified for the aerospace industry as well. COMPANY HISTORY Prince was started by Ed Miller in 1959 as a one-man shop just outside of Chicago, Illinois. As demand for our services grew, so did we. By 1977, we expanded our capabilities to include sheet metal fabrication. A couple of years later, we implemented CNC technology. In 2006, Prince established a new division, QP Hydraulics , which sells products into the mobile and industrial hydraulics markets. In 2022 and 2023, we acquired two aerospace-focused facilities in Florida.
