Roles & Responsibilities Responsibilities Take responsibility for the customised unit programming and overall system functionality Work with the Project Managers, Business Analyst and Consultants to understand the business / application requirements of the assigned task Prepare documentation of training documents, technical requirements, software design sessions, process workflow definitions and systems architectural reviews as well as implement necessary change control procedures. Configure, develop and deliver MS Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areas. Create new and modify existing customisations and integrations as requested by the business. Test functionality developed by the development team against business requirements Perform data conversions, debug system problems, and craft resolutions Maintain current reporting and facilitate change requests as needed. Ensure the timely and effective delivery of developed solutions into ongoing daily activities. Provide pre-go-live and post-go-live end user support Technical liaison to business groups for application support to internal stakeholders. Analyse and compile issues for reporting. Troubleshoot and coordinate with third party consultants as needed to resolve issues. Take initiative and make sound decisions within the guidelines provided. Ability to be available for other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent, with 2-3 years’ of relevant work experience in the retail industry or similar. Minimum of 2 years of MS Dynamics NAV Development (C/SIDE C/AL) experience is essential (Preferably in NAV2016 and later). Microsoft business applications such as Office 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Experience in the following are added advantages: SQL Server JET Reports Enterprise Other ERP Solutions Retail Management Warehouse and/or Supply Chain Management Excellent written and oral communication. Ability to work independently with little direction in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated skills utilizing project management tools and methodologies. Proven ability to write effective system and process documentation –including business and system requirements, process diagrams, and data flow charts. Ability to meet stated deadlines, while managing multiple projects and activities. Possess good interpersonal skills. Engage others in a positive manner. Possess strong attention to detail. Possess strong verbal and communication skills. Be willing to raise issues and concerns promptly.
