We’re looking for a HR Business Partner to join our team in Scotland. As part of our wider HR team, based out of Hamilton you will business partner with Directors and Senior Leaders within the Scottish business on all people & culture related activities to support the achievement of the business strategy. You will provide expert advice and guidance on a range complex people issues in order to minimise risk and financial exposure to the business, coaching and advising business leads to improve capabilities. You will also support functional/business leadership teams on colleague professional development and organisation succession planning, and discuss and challenge resourcing needs ensuring the best option has been agreed to meet the strategic objectives of the business. We are looking for someone who can challenge, support and influence at all levels and provide clear direction to the business to ensure business/functional needs are met. Frequent travel across our Scottish region will be required. You will also be required to attend events and meetings at our head office in York. You will need to have experience of leading as the HR expert on complex & large scale change projects (e.g. restructure, TUPE) and have experience coaching senior management teams. The successful individual will also have extensive knowledge of employment law with the ability to implement that knowledge to resolve work place issues, and be able to provide strategic advice, develop options, analyse risks, make good judgements and solve problems.
