Plexure is looking for an Assistant Accountant based in Auckland CBD to work within our growing finance team on a 5 month fixed term contract. About Us: What do we do? About the Role: The primary focus of the role is to ensure that the company’s financial information is recorded and reported on an accurate and timely basis, monthly accounting packages are completed on time and that finance systems continue to meet the evolving needs of the Finance Team and wider business Key Responsibilities: Coding supplier payments & reconciling invoices processing business expenses and analysing results Work closely with seniors in the team to deliver "month end" reports Bring an enthusiasm for learning and development and be willing to take on additional responsibility when needed. Identify and highlight opportunities for process and systems improvements, and adhere to a continuous improvement ethos What you'll Need to be Successful: Minimum 1 year practical experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role including accounts payable, account receivable and payroll experience. A Bachelors Degree in Accounting An understanding of financial reporting and audit requirements with intermediate level excel skills.
