We’re looking for highly motivated and energetic individuals to add to our restaurant and resort team. You should possess strong customer service skills in providing meals/drinks to guests in our any of our food outlets, ensuring a positive guest experience. Duties and Responsibilities Greets guests and presents them with menu. Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any. Suggests food and beverages to the guest and encourages upsell items. Takes food and beverage orders from the guest on the order taking pads or on the handheld Point of sale (POS) system. Obtains revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change. Performs routine cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. Fills in for absent staff as needed. Co - ordinates with the bus person, kitchen staff, bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction. Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service. Promptly responds to guest with any additional request. Maintains proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses as per restaurant standards. Adheres to grooming and appearance standards consistently. Understands and communicates products and services available at the resort. Must have some familiarity with basic cooking skills. Assists bus persons with stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side station. Helps other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and completing financial transactions. Prints closing report and drops the cash with the front office / accounts department. Tallies the Credit Card settlements for the day with the batch closing report from EDC machine. Effectively performs tasks to ensure that the restaurant is prepared for the next shift or the next day.
