The Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant is responsible for handling the payment posting processes, and client remittance procedures. Responsibilities: Daily posting of all payment types in a timely and accurate manner Reconciliation of daily batches in collection systems to daily bank activity Key large quantity of financial transactions with a minimal error rate Perform client remittances within required time restraints Work in a fast paced, high volume environment Assist with financial audit deliverables Desired Experience: Bookkeeping, accounting, payment processing or relevant experience required Has a working knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within the financial industry Good written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service skills Has a working knowledge of Excel and Great Plains Ability to work with minimal supervision.
