The purpose of this role is to utilise your sound understanding of risk management techniques, IT and cyber domains to support business and IT groups to effectively manage the lifecycle of IT and cyber risks. Sounds interesting? Here are some specifics: Operate the Technology Risk management framework Contribute to continuous improvement of the Technology Risk management framework. Facilitate and otherwise support IT aspects of external audit, the lifecycle of audit issues raised. Participate in and respond to internal audits where required. Take a lead role in prompting a sound risk culture within the technology organisation and sound IT risk behaviours across the broader organisation. Test IT controls oversee the testing of IT controls by others and contribute to maintenance of the IT controls assurance program. Enable the management of IT risks in the Perpetual supply chain risk by ensuring assurance over controls operated by service providers. Take a lead role in ensuring complete, accurate and timely responses to Perpetual business partner requests for assurance over IT controls. Contribute to IT risk reporting and the development of IT risk reporting maturity. Provide IT risk advice and ‘challenge’ in IT and business projects, including risk assessment and assistance with controls design to enable project stakeholders to adequately manage delivered risk. Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of IT security and other IT policies, standards and procedures. What you’ll need to succeed: Degree qualified + minimum of three years’ experience in IT risk or cyber risk. Knowledge of AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009 Risk Management standards (AS/NZS 4360:2004) ideal. Knowledge of technology and security standards and frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27000, NIST and ITIL. Good understanding of the finance services industry and processes. Knowledge and capability in risk management concepts and techniques. Familiar with a broad range of information technology components, e.g. infrastructure, business systems, cyber security, cloud, architecture, service management. One or more Industry qualification, e.g. CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP that are current and maintained. Familiar with industry regulations and compliance requirements, e.g. APRA, ASIC, MAS and Privacy Laws. Very good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and consultative skills, and the ability to communicate concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
