We are now seeking a Finance & Operations Cash Manager for a (12 month Fixed Term Contract). Reporting to the Head of Finance Operations & Cash, the successful candidate will manager a Cash Accountant and will have responsibility for managing the key Irish Distillers Group (IDG) reporting and treasury requirements, as well as driving cash generation/optimisation projects. What’s involved? Control of banking operations, including the management of financial transactions Manage the relationships with our banking providers Manage the Month End, Budget, and Estimate cycles for Cash Reporting Establish and maintain a high standard for internal controls and the management of financial risk Manage and administer intercompany loans Manage cash forecasting to support both internal and Group requirements Influence cash-flow activities and manage reporting within the organisation, ensuring that cash generation is optimised Implementation of ad-hoc cash optimisation projects Maximise the full potential of the IDL and DBL securitisation programs Optimise the cash benefit of the IDL Supplier Financing program in partnership with the procurement functions Manage the Samuelson re-insurance portfolio and key relationships with Captive Managers Develop and motivate direct report(s) to allow him/her to achieve their full potential Support production accounting team on key cash drivers Support Finance Operations team and Business Analysis team in formulation of annual RSA and RQ budget presentations Manage the operational aspect of the GIF (Group International Finance) branch Manage the receivables ledger collection risk profile Track Cased Goods inventory evolution to operational excellence targets Reconcile Excise Duty liability reporting with duty movements What we're looking for? Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent with 3 years post qualification experience, preferably within FMCG, Pharma or Financial Services industry Highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels of the business Knowledge of cash management and treasury operations would be an advantage Good knowledge of Order to Cash and Procure to Pay cycles would be desirable Ability to work under pressure and capable of managing numerous work streams simultaneously Strong financial and analytical ability Thorough approach with high level of accuracy Excellent organisational skills - structured approach Proficient in MS Office suite with strong Excel ability Knowledge of SAP and HFM (Prisma) tool desirable Life at IDL At Irish Distillers, we live and love whiskey.
