TRANSPORTATION PLANNER Parametrix is seeking a mid-level to senior Transportation Planner to join us in Albuquerque, NM. We have a strong transportation planning presence in our Southwest region. We have an established office in Albuquerque with 25+ transportation and environmental professionals. We have established relationships with a range of municipal, county, state, and federal clients providing us the opportunity to support and enhance the communities in which we live and work. WHO YOU ARE: Experienced: Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Planning, Engineering, Environmental Planning or similar. Master’s degree preferred. 7+ years of transportation experience, preferably in the consulting environment. Talented: You will have the opportunity to provide transportation planning services for roadway, transit, rail, and other infrastructure projects. Job responsibilities include corridor studies, various other planning studies, data collection, writing reports, and coordination for projects with local, state and federal funding. May include preparation and analysis of NEPA and other environmental documents. Relationship-focused: This senior professional role will focus on project management and delivery and client development. interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, “team player” attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, agency staff, and co-workers are essential. Skilled in Project Management: Demonstrated experience and success in managing, executing, and delivering complex projects as well as developing client relationships within transportation and environmental services. Proven history of strong client relationships in New Mexico preferred.
