We are looking for a Shepherd General to join our Huirimu Station team. Our ideal candidate will bring some shepherding experience, be highly motivated, have a great attitude, and enjoy working as part of a team. Huirimu Station is located 50 km from the friendly community of Te Awamutu and is a 700 ha effective sheep and beef breeding and finishing unit carrying 7500 su. Our successful candidate will be a team player, have a strong work ethic and bring a positive attitude to work every day. Having at least two well-controlled working dogs would be preferable. This role comes with a warm and tidy insulated three bedroom home, with primary schooling located nearby. The farm’s location offers fantastic recreational activities including hunting, fishing and tramping.
