We are currently looking for full time Kitchen Hands/Dishwasher staff who are passionate, hard working and reliable to join the team at our brand new downtown restaurant, Palate Kitchen. We are specifically looking for candidates that are very flexible and thrive on having no two days the same. All candidates for this position must be available to work opening and closing shifts on weekdays and weekends and have flexible availability to work at least 20 hours per week. Qualifications and Skills Job tasks: Washing dishes, pots, pans and cooking utensils. Taking out garbage and compost. Mopping and sweeping floors. Basic assistance in the kitchen as and when required Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Help load and unload supplies and product. What you'll need: Willing to work in fast paced environment. Previous dishwashing experience preferred but not required. Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines preferred. FoodSafe Level 1 Certification an asset. Ability to work well under pressure. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
