Will also engage team members to deliver results, increase productivity, build relationships and model company values. Responsible for department production reporting, enforcing a robust safety program. Assist in managing, tracking and reporting work schedules. Provide leadership to ensure effective training on methods, equipment, processes, quality standards, safety, material resource planning, communication, and teamwork. Supervise department, ensuring productivity, profitability, quality and safety are meeting or exceeding requirements. Communicate department activities and personnel needs to leadership. Complete job orders as required and track inventory. Compile daily job sheets reporting all work performed in the department. Work closely with leadership to ensure that all work location needs are being met. Oversee performance of machinery, equipment and tools to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies. Increase production efficiencies and identify cost reduction initiatives. Manufacturing Supervisor Qualifications: Leadership experience managing 30 individuals or more. Lean Manufacturing and Process Improvement experience Bachelors Degree is strongly preferred Excellent interpersonal skills Must be able to perform the following duties of the job: stand, bend, walk, sit, use hands, use tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, push pull or crawl.
