Roles & Responsibilities Roles & Responsibilities 1. 12 months contract (estimated). 2. Assist the Resident Engineer in supervision and inspection of construction work on site. 3. Monitor project progress schedule and quality standards, ensure safety on site. 4. Maintain and update site records on project progress. 5. Inspect and monitor quality of architectural finishing material delivered to site. 6. Check all drawings (including authority submission, shop-drawings and construction drawings). 7. Ensure works are carried out in accordance to statutory requirements. 8. Perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under Building Control Act and Regulations. 9. Ensure that the construction, civil, building and M&E works are constructed in accordance with drawings and specifications. 10. Monitor and report on the progress of works. 11. Carry out inspection and supervision of architectural and civil and structural engineering for both Permanent Works and Temporary Works, including precast elements that are fabricated off-site. 12. Coordinate with the Project Team, Contractors and other relevant agencies on the Works. 13. Ensure that records of all architectural, civil and structural engineering works, mechanical and engineering works including records of tests, defect rectification, inspections, work progress, material and equipment on site, safety, every work completed etc, are updated in a timely manner and properly kept. 14. Check all drawings (including shop-drawings, construction drawings) and specifications for discrepancies, address any non-compliance with the contractors and to report to Superintending Officer, SO Rep & the Consultants. 15. To assist the Superintending Officer, SO Rep and/or RE in all aspects relating to the construction of the projects. 16. Work closely with RE on day-to-day site operations. Requirements 1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in multi-storey building, preferably in bored piling works, steel and precast building construction and having experience in healthcare projects. 2. At least National Construction Certificate of Supervision of Architectural, C&S and M&E works. 3. Accredited as Resident Technical Officer by JAC of IES/ACES with a valid Resident Technical Officer Practicing Certificate. 4. A good team player and experience in assisting Resident Engineer in supervision
