About the Customer Base Our customers are mainly comprised of large blue-chip companies from multiple regions around the globe. Our highest concentration of customers is in North America, Western Europe, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Our customers span the entire spectrum of vertical sectors, both public and private, from Finance, Retail and Manufacturing to Pharmaceutical, Media and Consultancy. Within our customer organization, the types of individual we interact with are usually across the entire IT Management space, including and not limited to: Enterprise Architects, other IT architects (Application, Technical, Network, Data), Business Analysts, IT Directors, CTO etc. About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Lead Developer to head up a skilled team creating a solution delivery platform, interacting with a vast array of external platforms and tools. This is built in Microsoft Azure, utilizing C# Net Core 3.1, Logic Apps, Functions and a multitenant SaaS architecture. We work in a mature Agile environment, using a mix of SAFe and Scrum, with multiple Scrum teams operating in 2-week sprints. We practice leading development practices, incorporating TDD and CI/CD, with a focus on producing S.O.L.I.D maintainable code that can be released to production quickly and to a high quality. As part of the role, you will work closely with a mixed team of Software Engineers in Test and other full stack Developers, to ensure that Sprint deliverables meet their Story requirements and are of high quality. As part of the Agile development process you will work directly with the Product Owner to refine User Stories and help the team with estimation. To assist with this, we have a comprehensive DevOps process with dedicated teams responsible for assisting with build and release processes using Azure DevOps (TFS), Git and Azure. As we are a Microsoft Gold partner you will benefit from access to the latest software soon as it becomes available, e.g. Visual Studio 2019. We couple this with ensuring our teams have access to fast and up to date workstations. Our projects use cutting edge technology, and as such we encourage our Developers stay ahead of current trends and best practices. Ideally, we’d like a candidate that reflects this, with a keen interest in the latest frameworks and technologies. This could include keeping up to date on blogs and technology news sites, contributing to the web community, or testing out the newest frameworks in your own time.
