The post holder is responsible for ensuring an impartial, personal, effective and efficient patient liaison service, specifically regarding complaints, to patients, service users, relatives, carers and staff. The role is integral to improving patient experience by identifying trends or activities which could be improved and ensuring that these are communicated appropriately into service innovations. The post holder is responsible for: Liaising with patients and relevant staff to receive, manage and respond to patient complaints, NHSE, PHSO and ISCAS cases, claims and informal complaints in line with policy and procedures and best practice Working closely with staff and managers to resolve complaints and concerns in a timely and efficient way in order to achieve the best possible outcome for complainants and the services concerned. Supporting Operations to improve performance and quality based on insights from complaints, concerns and compliments. The post holder will be required to understand the need for confidentiality and display a mature and professional attitude at all times.
