Due to rapid growth and increased demand for our Privacy, Security and Third-Party Risk platform, OneTrust is seeking a Privacy Legal Researcher Intern for the Summer 2020 semester to support the OneTrust Global Privacy Team. As a Privacy Legal Researcher Intern, you will bring a sincere interest in the privacy legal industry and you will gain a clear understanding of the industry. What you'll do: --------------- Assist the Global Privacy team with working through complex data privacy compliance issues Perform privacy impact assessments Manage data subjects access requests and records of processing activities Create questionnaire templates to be used by OneTrust customers Provide product feedback to the product management team Additional project work as assigned What we're looking for: ----------------------- Pursuing a law degree at an accredited university 2L or 3L law student Relevant coursework or experience in privacy law IAPP certification preferred Effective customer-facing communication skills Proven ability to engage across corporate functions (Professional Services, and Product Management) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to chair meetings or host webinars Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities Ability to build relationships across stakeholders in marketing, sales, and engineering Ability to work at OneTrust Atlanta Headquarters in Sandy Spring daily What you'll gain from joining OneTrust -------------------------------------------- You can expect tremendous professional development hyper-growth opportunities; an opportunity to work in an open environment on solutions that are reshaping the way business operates; and respect for your ideas.
