The Regional Marketing team applies a customer-first lens to everything we do to drive engagement with prospects or yet-to-be Okta customers and advocacy with our customers. As a Marketing Intern, you will work closely with the Regional Marketing Managers and have ownership over projects that will have a measurable impact upon Okta's demand generation objectives. As a creative, dedicated, and approachable team member you will partner with cross functional teams to coordinate events and programs. Projects & Responsibilities will depend on the needs of the team and the candidate's skills, abilities, and background. However, you can anticipate working on the following: Support Regional Marketing team with event planning, promotions and logistics Coordinate with inside and direct sales teams around registration campaigns and discount programs; Report on overall effectiveness of marketing campaigns Coordinate staffing schedule and employee attendance for field events Keep the marketing events calendar up to date Liaise with external event agency and design agency as needed Other projects as needed Minimum required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications or related field with an expected graduation date of Summer 2021 or later Strong social and communication skills, both written and verbal Deeply organized and detail oriented Highly motivated, self-starter attitude People-person Event coordination and logistics experience preferred Ability to collaborate with team members while finding opportunities to give value individually
