Join a global manufacturing company of innovative packaging solutions Senior Human Resources Management role supporting multiple sites Your opportunity to make a real difference Oji Fibre Solutions, part of the rapidly expanding global Oji Group, specialises in the manufacturer of innovative packaging solutions. Our Australian plants produce packaging (corrugated boxes, paper cups and speciality packaging) which play an important part in the presentation, protection, and transportation of customer products in the Horticulture, Meat, Industrial, FMCG and Paper Products segments. We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced HR Manager to provide operational and strategic HR support and advice to the business, spanning across 5 main manufacturing sites in South-West Sydney, South-East Melbourne and South Brisbane; and 4 regional sites in QLD & VIC. You will also oversee two direct reports (HR Consultant and Payroll Advisor). The primary focus for this role will be to: Provide support and advice on a multitude of HR issues such as recruitment & selection, inductions, performance management, employee relations, training and development. Build solid partner relationships with the business and develop the respect needed to effectively influence and negotiate the best outcomes for the business. Effectively problem-solve employee issues, handle grievances, investigations and professionally deal with union related matters. Coordinate quarterly performance review and annual remuneration review processes to ensure accurate completion and consistency across the business. Assist in Enterprise Bargaining Agreement negotiations with the union and manage any workplace relations related matters. Be commercially focused with strong business acumen and a passion for creating a positive and innovative culture. Experience in facilitating group training sessions for management and staff. Manage your time effectively to juggle a number of issues at once with success. We seek a polished senior HR professional with minimum 6 years generalist experience. You will have a confident and influential communication style to efficiently liaise with all levels of the organisation from shop floor to the senior leadership team, accompanied with the ability to strongly guide our people leaders through various HR initiatives and challenges that arise.
