Orion Industries, a Boeing supplier and award-winning aerospace manufacturer and community enriching organization, is seeking an engaging and self-motivated Human Resources Generalist to participate with the HR Manager in the development and achievement of strategic goals and provide HR support to Orion. The ideal candidate will have: Mission and Core Values: Must have the desire and ability to uphold the Mission and Core Values of OrionEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a related field of study and five years related experience; or associate's degree from a two-year college or university in a related field of study with eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred Prior experience recruiting in a manufacturing environment is preferred Prior experience recruiting in a sales environment a plus Software: Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, experience with H.R./Payroll software and applicant tracking software Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team oriented, and ability to deal with a wide variety of personalities and learning styles Customer Service: Interact in a positive and engaging manner with all callers, visitors, staff and Program Participants; treat every contact as a valued customer Exudes a positive, professional image Excellent organizational skills Independence: Can plan, organize, prioritize and complete work with minimal assistance Critical Thinking: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Orion is an equal opportunity employer and a drug free work place (including marijuana).
