WHAT YOU'LL DO As the Manager, Marketing and Communications, you will develop, implement and manage marketing and communications strategies to meet organizational project-based objectives. You will manage the day to day workflow and operations of the marketing team. You will manage internal and external communications and ensure consistency with brand standards and language. You will help to reinforce our Guiding Principles and lead by example in fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration within and across teams. Develop the marketing execution strategy in support of corporate business goals and objectives Develop project specific strategies for Omicron developments Ensure marketing plans are aligned with annual marketing budget Manage Omicron's brand and identity Present and build business cases for marketing strategy investments that respond to market conditions, clients and competitors Develop and oversee Omicron's corporate social media strategy to ensure alignment with brand and business goals Understand and clearly articulate Omicron's value proposition, services and project delivery methodology Provide marketing tools to organizational leads to support sales efforts within their disciplines and market sectors Direct and manage external marketing consultants, including creative agencies, PR and media relations Provide strategic oversight to proposal development and production Evaluate success of marketing strategies and provide recommendations for improvement Advocate for marketing initiatives and collaborate with the HR department to build a work environment that supports the organization's Guiding Principles Act as the contact person for media enquiries and follow up Oversee advertising strategies and develop appropriate messaging Liaise with vendors and service providers to guarantee quality and cost-effective products and services for the organization Support the Director, Business Development to execute business development strategies Conduct market research to identify new opportunities Work with the marketing team to create pitches, presentations, reference material and other documents as required Attend relevant client, industry, professional and networking events in order to build relationships and promote the organization's initiatives Lead the development and management of annual Performance Roadmaps for the marketing team, including goal-setting, check-ins, year-end reviews and provide coaching and mentoring as required WHO YOU ARE You lead teams in creating a strategic vision and clearly communicate that vision to our external partners, potential clients and across the organization. REQUIREMENTS 5 - 7 years of experience in a generalist marketing role including supervisory experience Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration Experience in the development, design and construction industry is an asset Experience working within a professional services or business-to-business environment Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat and desktop publishing applications Knowledge of social media platforms and strategies Proven knowledge of marketing concepts/strategies and how to partner with the business
