Could you be the professional, reliable and caring support worker or housework assistant we are looking for? We offer both permanent part-time and casual positions across all our regions. These are rewarding and varied roles, where you will assist people with personal cares, meal preparation, medication support, hosiery application, shopping assistance, household management, and daily exercises. Areas with current vacancies are: Blenheim, Havelock and The Sounds Experience is not essential as training will be provided. You will need: A can-do attitude, honesty and reliability Good verbal and written communication skills Availability to work some weekend hours on an alternate weekend basis and/or Availability to work some evenings Full drivers licence with your own reliable vehicle Be legally entitled to work in NZ We can offer you: Pay and support to undertake NZQA recognised healthcare qualifications Pay equity rates - between $20.50 and $25.50 hour Our service operates from Monday to Sunday and includes morning, evening and weekend shifts. Permanent part-time applicants are offered guaranteed hours whilst casual employees have more flexibility and work mutually agreed hours in line with service requirements.
