Notion, a small and fast paced PR and Creative agency based in East London, are looking for an intern to join the team 2-3 days a week. The intern who fills this position must be a driven, organised and sociable individual who is eager to learn about the PR industry and wider media industry. Notion works with a number of diverse clients from the beauty, hospitality and interior industries; the intern must demonstrate an interest in a number of these fields. * It is essential that applicants for this position have strong communication skills, demonstrate an awareness about the media industry and showcase confidence in creating informative and creative press tools. * * Responsibilities: Compile and update media lists Write press releases and other pitching materials Assist in product send-outs (packing, labelling and organising delivery) Maintain office supplies, cleanliness and requirements Search for press coverage Compile press clippings Attend Notion client events outside standard working hours. Meet and build relationships with attending journalists Create online listings for upcoming client events Requirements: Strong verbal and written communications skills Understanding of social media and events Familiar with spreadsheets and, preferably, Google Drive Benefits: Practical PR experience working in a small and dynamic team Experience working in an office Opportunity to attend client networking events Flexible schedule depending on availability Paid opportunity * Job Types: Part-time, Internship Salary: £8.21 /hour
