When you join Northrop, you join a company that will support you to excel both professionally and personally. The Role Our busy Sydney Region is growing and therefore our IT team is expanding. An integral role for our business, your role will be to maintain our Information and Innovation infrastructure to minimise downtime and increase efficiency, which will allow our staff to focus on their work which is the core of our business. This person will be responsible for: Maintaining technology hardware so our people have adequate tools to achieve their goals Purchasing of all IT related equipment within agreed budget Ensuring a reliable and fast networking infrastructure suitable for high performance engineering software Continuous review and improvement of our infrastructure and framework. Such as server, backups, office365, internet connections etc, to ensure we can streamline and innovate where possible. Keep us relevant and compliant with a deep comprehension of software requirements and license availability Uphold staff satisfaction and reduce downtime; Facilitate internal and external audits as required. Systems, PCs and Devices are well protected with up-to-date software, patch and logs management Recording and proper management all IT Assets Prompt attendance in resolving to logged IT tickets and keeping users updated. Ensuring all Business systems/data is secure, backed up and well protected Every outage or down time over 1 hour is documented and analysing root cause in preventing future occurrence Integrate with Corporate IT Strategy and executed initiatives. Delivering a robust and high-performance networking setup for the Engineering Business needs Secure network by adhering to the protection policy, as directed by Corporate – password updates, virus scans, spam filtering, etc. Provide advice, guidance, and proper documentation in supporting the IT operations The Candidate You will have access to many opportunities within Northrop and with our support we will help you to develop your career. As the successful candidate you will have: At least 4 years’ experience in Windows Servers, Azure AD and Office365 Administration. PowerShell and Python Scripting expertise required. Tertiary qualifications in IT Loves helping all people.
