An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Simulation Centre Assistant to join the team at Northern Health. The Simulation Centre Assistant is responsible for supporting the Simulation Manager and Simulation Technical Support Officer in the day-to-day operations of the simulation centre. This involves assisting users to book and use equipment, operating equipment as required, and assisting in the maintenance, care and testing of equipment. Such equipment includes part task trainers, full body patient manikins, clinical equipment, audio-visual and computer equipment. The Simulation Centre Technical Support Officer will be required to train users in the use of equipment and provide the necessary support to ensure that sessions booked in the Centre are setup, equipped and ready for use. In the first instance this role is a casual position with hours varying depending on need. About you: Proficiency in MS software applications including MS outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and well as Internet and database applications. Previous experience within a technical laboratory environment (desirable). Previous experience with patient simulation, technologies and applications (desirable).
