Role description: Individual will work on a Loans Middle Office team with two other professionals. Assist in supporting the Secondary Loan Desk Coordinate with Counterparties and Legal to review Par and Distressed loan trade documentation Coordinate closings and settlement of Par and Distressed trades with Agents, Counterparties and Legal both on ClearPar and manual documents. Investigate and resolve any trade discrepancies; work closely with Traders and Sales Team on a daily basis Coordinate with Client On-boarding for any KYC requirements for new Nomura clients Assist in supporting the Primary Loan Desk Coordinate closing of both Leverage Loan and Relationship Loan transactions from start to end. Individual will working closely with Banking, Global Markets, Legal, Client On-boarding, and Treasury. Review Credit Agreements for operational aspects and escalate any potential constraints/issues Work closely with Servicing Team in Mumbai on lifecycle events processing, trade closings, cash and position reconciliation Compile weekly metrics for Management Keep abreast of industry initiatives and market trends in the loan market that can impact our business model and/or offer opportunities to improve our processes Minimum Qualifications: Required 2-5 years of Bank Debt experience Preferred Skills: Experience with LoanIQ is preferred Distressed product knowledge is preferable Must display ability to effectively communicate and prioritize the resolution of time-sensitive issues with internal and external stakeholders Successful candidates will be engaged under a contract for services with a third party. Successful Candidates will not be employed by nor have any employment relationship with Nomura.
